The Medieval Town & Amalienborg

Two options: a three-hour tour or a two-hour tour Three-hour tour We start at City Hall Square, where we hear about the history and development of Copenhagen. We then enter the medieval city, walking through The Piss Gutter and the Latin Quarter, where Copenhagen University and the Church of Our Lady are located, among other places. We visit The Square of the Gray Brothers and then continue past Amagertorv in the pedestrian area. Leaving the Old Town, we walk into the King’s Garden, where Rosenborg Castle is located. From there, we continue to the Marble Church and Amalienborg, where the Danish royal family lives. The tour ends at Amalienborg with a view of the Opera House. Two-hour tour We start at City Hall Square, where we hear about the history and development of Copenhagen. We then enter the medieval city, walking through Pisserenden and the Latin Quarter, where Copenhagen University and the Church of Our Lady are located, among other places. We visit The Square of the Gray Brothers and then continue past Amagertorv in the pedestrian area. We visit St. Nicholas Church and the hidden Pistolstræde. After that, we continue to Kongens Nytorv, where the tour ends.
