Multicultural Nørrebro

The tour can last two or three hours. We meet on Queen Louise’s Bridge, which lies between the Old Town and Nørrebro. Over the next two to three hours, we walk through this multicultural neighbourhood, which consists of 14 different areas. We visit Blågårds Plads, Ravnsborgsgade, Sankt Hans Plads and Nørrebrogade. We also walk through the beautiful Assistens Cemetery and along the super-trendy Jægersborggade, which is now considered one of the coolest shopping streets in all of Copenhagen. Along the way, we hear stories about the turbulent changes and conflicts that have taken place here, in a neighbourhood that is now completely peaceful. The tour ends near Nørrebro Station, from where it is easy to take the metro or a bus back to the city centre. The route is the same whether you choose the two- or three-hour tour. On the three-hour tour, we take a little more time and stop for a drink along the way.
